1. Introduction

Welcome to MealMitra, an application developed and maintained by Ariva Labs. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the MealMitra application and services. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Nature of the Platform

MealMitra acts as a technology platform that connects customers seeking home-cooked meals with verified kitchen partners (Providers). We facilitate discovery, menu management, booking schedules, and delivery tracking. MealMitra is not a food preparation entity and does not own, sell, or prepare the food listed on the platform.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding the password and OTPs that you use to access the service.
  • You agree not to disclose your account credentials to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Partner (Kitchen) Responsibilities

If you register as a Kitchen Partner (Provider), you agree to the following:

  • FSSAI Compliance: You must hold a valid FSSAI registration/license and provide accurate details for verification. You are solely responsible for maintaining food safety and hygiene standards as mandated by local laws.
  • Quality & Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring that the menus, dishes, and schedules you upload are accurate, and the food prepared meets acceptable quality standards.
  • Service Fulfillment: You agree to fulfill all accepted bookings in accordance with the preferred time slots and delivery dates specified by the customers.

5. Provider Subscription & Fees

To utilize the MealMitra platform, Kitchen Partners (Providers) are subject to a platform access fee:

  • Subscription Fee: Providers must pay a recurring monthly subscription fee of ₹200 (INR) to maintain active access to the platform, list their menus, and accept customer bookings.
  • Billing & Suspension: The fee is billed on a monthly basis. Failure to pay the subscription fee may result in the temporary suspension or termination of the provider's account and visibility on the app.
  • Modifications: MealMitra reserves the right to modify the subscription fee amount or billing structure with prior notice to the providers.

6. Bookings and Deliveries

  • Customers can browse provider schedules and place meal bookings through the app.
  • MealMitra provides a tracking mechanism for delivery logs but is not liable for delayed, missed, or incorrect deliveries, as these are managed by the respective providers.
  • Any disputes regarding food quality or delivery should be raised directly between the customer and the provider. MealMitra may offer support to mediate but holds no ultimate liability.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the application to:

  • Post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libelous content (including reviews).
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its related systems or networks.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Ariva Labs, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the service, particularly regarding the food quality or actions of kitchen partners.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
